The problem
Spa sites tend to lead with discount banners and stock photos of calm. This one needed to feel as unhurried as the treatments, so a guest could see the room, choose one of three rituals, read what other guests said, and book in a single message.
Constraints
Booking had to run through WhatsApp, the channel guests in Bali already use, with no booking backend to maintain. The whole palette had to change by editing three values. Every animation had to respect reduced motion, and the layout had to hold up on a 320px screen.
What Trace built
A single-page Next.js site built with Tailwind and Motion. The header sits transparent over the hero and turns to glass once the page scrolls. The hero introduces an arch that repeats in every portrait frame. Each treatment card shows price, duration, and a Book button that opens WhatsApp with the ritual already named. A star badge on the cards opens into a short offer, one card at a time. The guest section pairs a 4.9 / 5 rating line with a typed reassurance and pinned review notes. The contact form writes the guest's name and message straight into a WhatsApp chat.

Outcome
One page takes a guest from first impression to a booking message. There is no backend to run: each booking arrives as a WhatsApp chat with the treatment already named. Changing the three brand values restyles every surface, border, and glow, so the same build can carry a different house's colours. The site is private, so this case study shows screenshots only.
Questions
About this project.
What did Trace build for this spa?
Trace designed and built a single-page website covering the header, hero, story, treatments, guest reviews, a visit and contact section, and the footer, with motion throughout.
How do guests book a treatment?
Every Book button opens WhatsApp with a message already written for that treatment. The contact form does the same with the guest's name and note, so bookings land where the team already replies.
Can the colours be changed later?
Yes. The palette comes from three values: background, accent, and text. Every other shade is mixed from them, so changing those three restyles the whole site.
Why is there no live link?
The project is private. This page shows screenshots of the build instead of a public URL.
